Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 10, Block 1,
Sunstone Village - 1st Subdivision, a subdivision of Ft.
Collins, Colorado.
The subject excavation was inspected on January 10, 1989.
The exposed soils indicate a balanced spread footing type
foundation system designed in accordance with the recommen-
dations contained in the soils and foundation investigation
report performed by Landmark Laboratories Ltd., dated August
31, 1987 is suitable. No water was encountered to a depth
of 1.5 feet. No perimeter drain is required. All pads and
footings are 8" deep unless otherwise noted.
Based upon those results and our evaluation of the proposed
Conifer III Model, we recommend the footings shown on the
