Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 14, Block 2,
Sunstone Village - 1st Subdivision, a subdivision of Ft.
Collins, Colorado.
The subject excavation was inspected on September 3, 1987.
The exposed soils indicate a balanced spread footing type
foundation system designed in accordance with the recommen-
dations contained in the soils and foundation investigation
report performed by Landmark Engineering Ltd., dated May 20,
1987 is suitable. No water was encountered to a depth of
2.5 feet. No perimeter drain is required. All pads and
footings are 8" deep unless otherwise noted.
Based upon those results and our evaluation of the proposed
Conifer I Model, we recommend the footings shown on the sketch
below.
