Gentlemen:
It is our understanding that the crawlspace at the front of the
above referenced residence has been Changed to a full basement. It
is our opinion that a double 1-3/4" x 9-1/2" microlam beam should
be placed where the crawlspace/basement wall was previously
located. As an alternative, a W8x10 steel beam may be used. In
either case, the beam should be supported by a three and one-half
(3-1/2) inch adjustable steel column over a thirty (30) inch square
pad.
