Gentlemen:
As requested, an engineer from Empire Laboratories, Inc. has reviewed
the structural plan for the proposed mezzanine addition to the
above -referenced building. It is our understanding that thirty-two (32)
feet of the mezzanine is to be added at this time instead of the proposed
seventy-five (75) feet. We understand that the steel beam is to be
cantilevered approximately seven (7) feet. It is our opinion the W18x86
called out on the structural plans is adequate to cantilever the seven (7)
feet, and all other structural members as outlined on the structural plan
are adequate for the revised mezzanine level. If you have any questions,
please contact us.
