This observation was performed on July 16, 1999. It is our opinion that the reinforcement was in general conformance with our foundation plan, Job No. 3737-10-30-01. July 16, 1999 Commission No.: 3737-10-30-03 Hartford Homes 344 East Foothills Parkway, Suite 12 Fort Collins, Colorado 80525-2662 Gentlemen: We have visually, observed the footing forms placed at the residence under construction at Lot 39, Stetson Creek, (2126 Sweetwater Creek Drive), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This observation was performed on July 13, 1999. It is our opinion that the form widths are in substantial conformance with our foundation plan, Job No. 3737-10-30-01. No substantial amounts of loose material were noted below footing, wall or pad bearing locations. This observation does not, nor was it intended to cover setback requirements. It is the contractors/owners responsibility to verify that the home has been located within the appropriate building setbacks. July 14, 1999 Commission No.: 3737-10-30-02 Hartford Homes 344 East Foothills Parkway, Suite 12 Fort Collins, Colorado 80525-2662 Gentlemen: I I - - On July 12, 1999 we visually observed the excavation at Lot 39, Stetson Creek,`(2126 Sweetwater Creek), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. The purpose of this observation was to verify that the soil conditions encountered in the excavation are generally consistent with those outlined in the soils report performed by Foundation & Soils Engineering Inc., Job No. 1110-37-01-01, dated December 17,1993. This letter is not intended to be a summary of the soils report and does not meet the disclosure requirements of Colorado Senate Bill 13, 6-6.5-101. The subsurface conditions exposed in the excavation appeared to be generally consistent with those described in the above referenced soils report, which recommends a balanced spread footing type foundation system for these subsurface conditions. No water was encountered to a depth of approximately five (5) feet. We recommend that damp -proofing be installed at the foundation walls for all below -grade, habitable living areas per 1991 UBC Section 2915. Due to the anticipated depth of groundwater below footing elevation, it is our opinion that an exterior perimeter drain is required for this structure. If you have any James A.
