Terracon observed the exterior perimeter drain construction at the referenced site on
October 9, 2001, as requested. A four -inch diameter perforated PVC pipe had been placed
around the exterior perimeter of the basement foundation. The drainage pipes appeared to
exhibit positive drainage toward the sump located within the basement area. We also
observed 1'/ - 3/4 inch washed gravel placed above and below the pipe.
In our opinion the exterior perimeter drains were constructed in general accordance with
the plans and specifications for this project.
