The subject property is located in a BG (General Business) zone,
wherein automobile repair conducted within a building is a permitted
use. The automobile sales use is a non -conforming use and may be
retained provided the use is not discontinued for a period of one
year. Should the automobile sales use be discontinued for a period of
one year, the non -conforming right would be lost. The City's records
show that the automobile sales use ceased in October 1987.
