Masonry special inspection was also provided with non-compliance noted if observed at the
time of the site visit. The observations were reported to the masonry contractor, Gerald H.
Phipps, Inc., and the structural engineer with a formal typed report.
It is recommended that the project structural engineer review the test and inspection reports for
acceptance as meeting the project design criteria.
Foundation
Terracon provided an observation of the foundation(s) excavations as requested during
construction. Per the structural engineer's criteria and observations performed, foundations
have been placed in general accordance with the requirements of 1,500 psf maximum
anticipated material identified.
