It is my understanding that the U.B.C. will allow a horizontal exit from an office building into an open Parking Garage provided the wall between the two occupancies is two hour with one and one-half hour doors. It is also my understanding that you will allow the use of two horizon- tal exits plus another exit by the main stair in order to meet sec. 3302 (c). These three exits shall be arranged a reasonable distance apart so that if one becomes blocked, the others will be available. If this meets with your approval, please sign and return one copy.
