On April 24, 2000 Weeks & Associates observed the excavation at the referenced site. The
soil observed at footing level was a brown lean clay with sand. The soil is similar to that
described in the Subsurface Exploration Report for the site by Earth Engineering Consultants,
Inc. dated May 12, 1995 (see Project No. 1952030). The soils indicate the use of a spread
footing foundation system as recommended in the geotechnical report. The foundation plan for
the site by Weeks & Associates, Inc., Project No. 99151, is appropriate for the site soil
conditions.
