Burns Construction 1106 Yew Place Loveland, Colorado 80537 Gentlemen: We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 7, Block 12, Wagon Wheel Second Filing (4448 Sioux Blvd.), a subdivision of Ft. Collins, Colorado. The subject excavation was inspected on October 2, 1986. The exposed soils indicate a balanced spread footing type foun- dation system designed in accordance with the recommenda- tions contained in the soils and foundation investigation report performed by F.M. Fox and Associates, Job No. 1-1102- 3989, dated February 20, 1979 is suitable. No water was encountered to a depth of 2.5 feet. No perimeter drain is required. Based upon those results and our evaluation of the proposed Conifer II Model, we recommend the footings shown on the sketch below.
