On October 10, 1989, a Public Service Company employee made a service call to
the property located at 817 Balsam Lane.
Inspection revealed that there is a crack in the combustion chamber of the
furnace. Because this condition poses a definite safety hazard, service to the
furnace was discontinued.
For safety reasons, we advise you to have this problem corrected by a qualified
repairman of your choice. After repairs have been made, please notify us in
writing of the repair date, type of repairs, and the name of the firm and/or
repairman so we may update our files.
A copy of this letter will be forwarded to the city/county building department
officials. Please be advised that in some cases a building permit will be
required to make repairs. This is the responsibility of your repairman and/or
heating contractor.
