Gentlemen:
We have visually observed the drilling of several of the ten (10) inch diameter, straight shaft piers
supporting the msidenee under construction at Lut 10, Eagle Tree Subdivision (812 Biscay), a
subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This inspection was perforated on August 12, 1998.
Exposed soils measured from original grade consist of fourteen (14) feet of slightly silty clay over a
clayey silistone bedrock which extends to the depths drilled.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned, and of adequate length as specified on our
foundation plan, lob No. 1455-12-29-01. No water was encountered during drilling. Therefore, we
recommend concrete be placed immediately after drilling of the caissons. Casing was not required.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
