City of Fort Collins Home Occupation Requirements
Section 118-81(C) HOME OCCUPATIONS. "A home occupation shall be allowed as a
permitted accessory use provided all of the following conditions are met: Special Limltatloals For This
(1) Such use shall be conducted entirely within a dwelling and carried on by the Specific LlCenae
inhabitants living there and not more than one other employee; r
(2) Such use shall be clearly incidental and secondary to the use of the dwelling for dwelling purposes and shalt not change the character thereof;
(3) The total area used for such purposes shall not exceed one-half the floor area of
the user's dwelling unit;
(4) There shall be no exterior advertising other than identification of the home occu-
pation;
(5) There shall be only incidental sale of stocks, supplies, or products conducted on "
the premises;
(6) There shall be no exterior storage on the premises of material or equipment used )FLV- as a part of the home occupation;
(n There shall be no offensive noise, vibration, smoke, dust, odor, heat or glare ar 4� �• 7C c noticable at or beyond the property tines; UU (8) A home occupation shall provide additional off-street parking area adequate to
accommodate all needs created by the home occupation; (- -++ r
(9) In particular, a home occupation may include, but is not limited, to the following
