Box 503 a 301 No. Howes Fort Collins, Colorado 80522 (303) 484 0359 FAX No. (303) 484.0454 On October 30, 1990, a representative of Empire Laboratories, Inc. made observations during the caisson construction at .the above -referenced project. The purposes of the observations were to (1) identify the bedrock stratum, (2) assure proper penetration into the firm bedrock was obtained, (3) assure that the drill holes observed were thoroughly cleaned arid dewatered prior to concrete placement, and (4) check drill Boles as to proper diameter and plumbness. It is our opinion that the portions and aspects of the work which were observed were done in accordance with the plans and specifications for the project.
