Gentlemen:
We have visually observed the drilling of several of the ten (10) inch diameter, straight shaft piers
supporting the residence under construction at Lot 12, Coventry 2nd, (720 Bentley Place), a
subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This inspection was performed on October 26, 1998.
Exposed soils measured from original grade consist of seven (7) feet of sandy clay over a claystone
bedrock which extends to the depths drilled.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned and of adequate length and penetration as specified
on KLP foundation plan, Job No. 4028. Water was encountered during drilling. Therefore we
recommend that concrete be placed immediately after drilling of each individual caisson. Casing was
not required.

Gentlemen:
We have visually observed the wall reinforcing and void material placed in the forms at the residence
under construction at Lot 12, Coventry, (720 Bentley), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This
observation was performed on November 23, 1998.
It is our opinion that the reinforcement was in general conformance with the KLP foundation plan,
Job No. 4028.

We have visually observed the basement structural floor system at the residence under construction
at Lot 12, Coventry 2nd, (720 Bentley), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This observation
was performed on February 10, 1999.
It is our opinion that the framing was in general conformance with Structural Consultants Inc. plans,
Job No. 96520.33.
