This plan review is for general compliance with the 1991 Uniform Fire Code and amendments, as adopted by the City of Fort Collins,
Poudre Valley Fire Protection District, and the City of Timnatls The applicant is responsible for meeting all requirements of this code
before final approval a granted by Poudre Fire Authority. The Authority's approval of drawings, designs, plans, and specifications shall
not in any way relieve the applicant of responsibility for the technical accuracy of the work

GENERAL "OUIREMENTS
These items do not require prior approval or review by Poudre Fire Authority, but are required to be in place at
the time of final inspection by the Authority:
• Fire Extinguishers: All occupancies must be equipped with the proper number and type of portable
extinguishers. These requirements are detailed in Uniform Fire Code Standards 10-1 (National
UrFire Protection Assn.. Publication # 10). All occupancies must have a minimum of a 2A rated
extinguisher.
• Premise Identification: Approved six (6) inch numbers or addresses shall be in place on all new and
existing buildings in such a position as to be plainly detailed and legible from the street or. road
fronting the property. These numbers shall contrast with their background.
•
Meter Protection: Any gas meter which is susceptible to damage by vehicles, must be suitable
protected with concrete -filled posts.
