Gentlemen
We have visually observed the drilling of several of the ten (10) inch diameter, straight shaft piers
supporting the residence under construction at Lot 8, Coventry, (707 Bentley Place), a subdivision
of Fort Collins, Colorado. This observation was performed on September 9, 1999.
Exposed soils measured from original grade consist generally of eighteen (18) feet of clayey siltstone
bedrock which extends to the depths drilled, approximately eighteen (18) feet.
All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned and of adequate length and penetration as specified
on the foundation plan drawn by KLP Engineering, Plan No. 4028/Partial Crawl. Water was
encountered during drilling of each individual caisson. Casing was not required.

Gentlemen:
We have visually observed the wall reinforcing placed in the forms at the residence under construction
at Lot 8, Coventry 1st, (707 Bentley Place), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This
observation was performed on October 6, 1999.
It is our opinion that the reinforcement was in substantial conformance with the KLP Engineering
foundation plan, Plan No. 4026.
