Dear Al:
Your permit No. 19403 issued March 12, 1973
has never been finaled. The main difficulty has been
the fire alarm system which was allowed by the Building
Board of Appeals Number 75 in February 1973.
The National Electric Code Article 725-6 requires
this to be a class I wiring system --this is conduit,
MT cable or ALS cable..
We are concerned with the safety of the building
and the occupants. We do not feel the system as
installed is safe and have required the wiring method
be conduit. We have also required inspection and
approval by this department and the Fire Marshall.
Unless we can have this situation remedied with
all haste we will be forced to revoke the variance
which will require the lower level be vacated.
