This letter affirms that the undersigned was the Structural Engineer of Record for the above
referenced building and visited the site during the structural portion of foundation construction
to observe the quality and progress of the structural portions of the work and to determine
whether that portion of the work was in general conformance to the structural portion of the
Contract Documents.
My observation are made to protect the public and the owner and are not responsible for the
contractor's work or work methods, safety on or near the site, timeliness of the work, nor any
other aspect of the construction for which the contractor was responsible.
The site observation visit was made at the time when I could view the foundation work.
Observation was to view the concrete footing -and concrete block stem wall and the reinforcing
steel in them. It is my opinion that the structural portion of the foundation construction is in
general conformance with the structural portion of the contract documents.
