RE: 402 & 406 West Laurel, Fort Collins, Colorado
Dear Mr. Paget:
We have visually inspected the existing two (2) structures at the
above referenced address. This inspection was performed on August
11, 1995.
It is our understanding that the foundations for the two structures
need modifications to accept egress windows. Our findings and
recommendations are as follows:
Unit 406
This unit will get three (3) egress windows, one on the east side
and two on the west. The foundation consists of an ashlar, red
sandstone face with rubble stone behind. We recommend that the
existing window openings not be widened due to the existing lintel
being stone. However, it should not be a problem to deepen the
opening.
Unit 402
This unit will have one egress window on the east side. The
foundation consists mainly of rubble stone. Therefore, it should
not be a problem to install the new opening.
Once the openings have been cut, we recommend reinspection prior
