On Friday, July 23, 1993, the Colorado Board of Examiners of
Architects reviewed your letters dated June 10, 1993 and July
12, 1993 and voted to table the matter further and request that
you inform the Board when the awning is put back up at the
Olive Garden Restaurant in Fort Collins in accordance with
engineering standards. —

The Colorado Board of Examiners of Architects reviewed your
response in the-above—inentioned matter .and voted that pursuant
to rule 100.704 (D)_ and (E)-you have fall responsibility over
the awnings in question. This rule, in part, states:
When a licensee signs and stamps a douument. it
is presumed that they have assumed responsiblity
for the entire document unless the stamp is,
limited -by a statment adjacent to the stamp
which accurately retlects the licensee's scope
of responsibility for.the document
-Mr. Ronald E. smith.stated-in ids letter dated March 25, 1993
that there is a possible.nusafe'condition existing in the
awnings_. -Therefore, the -Board has requested that you have a
Colorado registered Engineer review the design and report the'
findings to.the Board as soon as possible Or no later than June'"
