Mr. Zapf:
As requested Earth Engineering Consultants, LLC (EEC's) in-house ICC certified bolt and weld inspector,
(Mr. Charlie Klapproth .- ICC Certified Inspector No. 848702), provided construction observation and
testing services at the referenced project. Those services were provided on a part-time/as-needed basis and
included non-destructive testing (NDT) services of steel erection elements at locations as described herein.
The results of the observation and testing services completed by EEC personnel were provided to the
general contractor's on -site representatives and a formal/written response is included with this report.
On December 11, 2013, EEC"s in-house ICC inspector performed visual observations of the structural steel
erected at the roof level from approximate Gridlines EA thru ED from El to EIA and Gridlines EA.5 thru
ED from E2 to E2.7. Observations included the welded beam to wall angle connections, and the welded
beam to beam connections. Visual observations determined the welds in these areas appeared to be in
general conformance with the project plans and details.
