The "Ufer" electrical ground system was placed in the footing and meet the requirements of Article 250.52(A)(3) of the 2008 National Electrical Code (NEC). The footings were observed on November 4, 2013 and the foundation walls were observed on November 5, 2013. Should you have questions, please feel free to contact our office. RMG found it to be complete and in substantial compliance with the design drawings prepared by High Plains Engineering & Design, LLC for this structure at the date of this observation. The footings were excavated to the cobbley clayey sand, which is similar to those soils described in the Subsurface Soil Investigation, Rigden Farms — Sixth Filing — Final Geotech, Fort Collins, Colorado, prepared by RMG Engineers Group, RMG Job No. 139917 and dated October 2, 2013. RMG did not encounter groundwater within three feet of the proposed footing elevation. The soils supporting the footings will be a low expansive material. Based on the soil conditions encountered within three feet of the footing level, a continuous spread footing may be designed and constructed in accordance to the above mentioned Subsurface Soil Investigation.
