RMG Engineers Group (RMG) conducted a foundation excavation review for a single-family
residence under construction at the above -referenced site located in Fort Collins, Colorado on
November 1, 2013.
The footings were excavated to the cobbley clayey sand, which is similar to those soils described
in the Subsurface Soil Investigation, Rigden Farms — Sixth Filing — Final Geotech, Fort Collins,
Colorado, prepared by RMG Engineers Group, RMG Job No. 139917 and dated October 2,
2013.
RMG did not encounter groundwater within three feet of the proposed footing elevation. The
soils supporting the footings will be a low expansive material. Based on the soil conditions
encountered within three feet of the footing level, a continuous spread footing may be designed
and constructed in accordance to the above mentioned Subsurface Soil Investigation.
