This is to confirm that we approve the use of aluminum conductors for installation in Buildings 1
and 2 of The Commons in Fort Collins, Colorado subject to the following conditions:
1. Use of aluminum conductors is approved for feeders rated at 100 amps and larger as
defined in specification section 260519, 3.1, A.
2. Aluminum conductors are not allowed for feeders or circuits rated less than 100 amps.
3. Conductor insulation shall comply with 260519, 3.2, B, C and D.
4. Aluminum conductors shall be sized for the overcurrent protection device at 75 degree C
per NEC Table 310.16.
