HomeMy WebLinkAbout951 Riverside Ave - Correspondence/Permit Extension - 01/22/20131 Heath construction Date: January 22, 2013 To: Mike Gebo Chief Building Official City of Fort Collins Community Development and Neighborhood Building Services 281 North College Ave. Fort Collins, CO. 80524 RE: Permit # B1200359 Extension Request — Houska Auto Warehouse (-9:51 Riverside Ave. Mr. Gebo, Heath Construction received communication from the City of Fort Collins that permit number, (# B1200359), for the Houska Auto Warehouse located at 951 Riverside Ave. in Fort Collins, CO. is to expire on February 3, 2013. The letter states, we need to either obtain a required City inspection, or request and obtain an 180 day extension of the non -expired permit. The 951 Riverside Ave. address is currently occupied under a TCO on August 16, 2013. The TCO was issued in lieu of the Certificate of Occupancy, (C of O), as we have some landscaping, paving and City sidewalk replacement work that could not be completed until the construction of the Houska Tire & Lube building was performed. The landscaping and paving are complete and those inspections have been called and completed. The remaining item is the removal and replacement of the City sidewalk. This work has not been completed and therefore no inspection can be called at this time. As the work will not be in place prior to February 4, 2013, we respectfully request that we be granted a 180 day extension of permit # B 1200359 to allow for the completion of the aforementioned items. Our anticipated completion date for the Houska Tire and Lube building is February 28, 2013.The outstanding issues for the Houska Auto Warehouse will be resolved prior to the 281h of February, at which time final inspections and sign offs can occur and a Certificate of Occupancy can be issued.
