It is our understanding that your Firm manages the HOA for the above referenced property. A
sump pump has been installed in the basement window well adjacent to the front entry door
and an extension cord has been run around the structure across and under the door way and
rug then plugged into an existing exterior outlet. This installation is not to code standards.
Enclosed are pictures of the installation.
To correct the situation a permanent outlet needs to be installed above the window well so
that the sump pump can be plugged directly into the new outlet and eliminate the. extension
cord completely. The outlet should be installed by a licensed electrician and -when complete,
contact this office for a site inspection.
This situation needs to be corrected within thirty (30) days of receipt of this letter. Consider
this letter your Building Code Correction Notification. If you have any questions regarding this
matter please call me.
