This letter is to inform you that the above referenced property is in violation of the
following sections of the International Codes as adopted by the City of Fort Collins:
The 2009 International Residential Code Section R105.1 adopted by the City of Fort
Collins regarding the construction of a deck more than 30" above grade at the above
referenced address without a permit in place prior to the work commencing. As the deck
is located on the side of the structure in an area where the deck would not have been
allowed, it will be impossible to obtain a permit. Therefore the deck will need to be
removed.
These Code violations shall be corrected by:

explain any mitigating circumstances.
