The following was reviewed at the referenced site as requested.
Three new swamp coolers are planned for the roof at the referenced site. The coolers are to be
located over unit 4 at the south end of the building and will have operating weight of less than
500#. Based on the existing concrete double tee roof system it is my opinion the roof is
adequate to support the swamp coolers provided the coolers are supported on separate tees
and do not share tees with existing roof top units. The 21" square holes for the duct should be
cut in the web members between the legs of the tees.
