This observation was performed on March 9, 2006. It is our opinion that the reinforcement was in general conformance with the foundation plan, drawn by Kiva Engineering, Inc., Job No. 5575-26-19-01. This observation was performed on March 7, 2006. It is our opinion that the footing and pad form widths and steel reinforcing were in general conformance with the foundation plan, drawn by Kiva Engineering, Inc., Job No. 5575-26-19-01. No substantial amounts of loose material were noted below footing, wall or pad bearing locations. This observation does not, nor was it intended to cover setback requirements. It is the contractors/owners responsibility to verify that the home has been located within the appropriate building setbacks. If you have any questions, please feel free to call. Eisenhower, Suite 230 Loveland, Colorado 80537 Project No.: 5575-26-19-05 RE: Lot 6, Block 4, Sidehill Subdivision, 2415 Strawfork Drive, Fort Collins, CO Gentlemen: On March 14, 2006, a representative of Kiva Engineering, Inc. visually observed the perimeter drain system and damp -proofing at the above -referenced location. We observed that the completed drain system consisted of perforated rigid PVC pipe surrounded by gravel, overlying a plastic liner, set outside of the foundation walls. The drain appeared to be located below the footing level and is to discharge to an interior sump pit. We observed that the damp -proofing consisted of asphaltic spray -on coating. It appeared that the damp -proofing coating adequately covered the foundation wall. As a result of our observations, it is our opinion that the drainage system and damp -proofing were in general conformance with the recommendations provided in the Kiva Engineering, Inc. soils report, Project No. 5575-26-01-01, dated August 22, 2005.
