Dear Mr. Cortese,
On 9/30/2005 you were issued a Building Code Violation for the above referenced
address for the construction of a deck that is more than 30" above grade which is a direct
violation of the 2003 International Residential Code Section R105.1. On 11/29/2005 you
applied for a permit for the deck with application #B0507022. This application expired
on 2/28/2006 without a permit being issued for the deck. Along with the original
violation you are now in violation of the 2003 International Residential Code Section
R105.3 allowing an application for permit to expire.
Enclosed is a summons to appear in Municipal Court on 5/8/2006 at 8:00 a.m. at which
time you will be able to explain why you allowed the permit application to expire and
why you have not obtained a permit for the deck.
