Box 503 Fort Collins, Colorado 80521-0503 (970)484-0359 Fax: (970) 484-0454 A representative of Terracon observed the perimeter drain at the above referenced address on December 9, 2005, as requested. A four -inch diameter perforated PVC pipe had been placed around the exterior perimeter of the basement foundation with an impervious PVC membrane beneath the drainage system. The drainage pipe appeared to exhibit positive drainage toward the sump pit located within the basement area. We also observed '/ to 1-inch washed gravel placed above and below the pipe and drainage filter fabric above the gravel. The waterproofing/damp- proofing was also observed and in our opinion was uniformly applied to the exterior foundations. In our opinion the exterior perimeter drain was constructed in general accordance with the plans and specifications for this project. Sincerely, TERRACON Todd A.
