On November 10, 2005, a representative of Kiva Engineering, Inc. visually observed the perimeter drain system and damp -proofing for the new residence under construction at Lot 3, Block 6, Sidehill 1st, 2308 Strawfork Drive, a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. We observed that the completed drain system consisted ofper. forated rigid PVC pipe tiurrounded by gravel, overlying a plastic liner, set outside of the foundation walls. The drain, appeared to be located below the footing level and is to discharge to an interior sump pit, We observed that the danip-proofing consisted of asphaltic spray -on coating. it appeared that the damp -proofing coating adequately covered the foundation wall, As a result of our observations, it is our opinion that the drainage system and damp -proofing were in general conformance with the plans and specifications. This observation was performed on November 7, 2005. It is our opinion. that the reinforcement was in general confonance with the foundation plan, drawn by Kiva Engineering, Inc,, Job No. 55n 75-26-05-01. if you have any questions, please feel free to call. This observation was performed on November 3, 200S. It is our opinion that the footing and pad form widths and steel reinforcing were in general conformance with the foundation plan, drawn by Kiva Engineering, Inc., rob No. 5575-26-05-01. No substantial amounts of loose material were noted below footing, wall or pad bearing locations. This observation does not, nor was it intended to cover setback requirements.
