A representative from Terracon observed the exterior perimeter drain at the above referenced
address on February 24, 2005, as requested. At the time of our site visit, a 4-inch diameter,
perforated PVC pipe had been placed around the exterior perimeter of the basement foundation and
was observed to exhibit positive gravity flow toward a sump pit located in the lower level/basement
portion of the residence. A layer of % to 1/4-inch washed gravel was also observed above and
beneath the pipe and drainage filter fabric above the gravel. The waterproof dampening was also
observed and in our opinion was uniformly applied to the exterior foundations.
In our opinion the exterior perimeter drainage system was constructed in general accordance with
the plans and specifications for the project.
