Project Specifications
We made site visits on 2/25/09 and 2/26/09 to inspect the welding of the beam to beam, column to beam, column to pier
sleeve, 29-gauge decking to purlins, and 29-gauge decking to beam connections for the carport structure at the Village
of Stanford. We also inspected the #12 Tek Screw connections of the purlins to beam flanges and the #10 Tek Screw
w/neoprene washer connections of the decking to purlins and beams. AWS D1.1, 6011 electrodes, 3/16" fillet welds in
the H, V, and O positions. We inspected approximately 575 inches of welds and accepted 100%, of which
approximately 2% had been rewelded. Plans were prepared by Carport Structures Corporation, Project No. 09-1323
(Village of Stanford), dated 1/19/09, page S-1. Our office will be contacted when additional inspection is requested.
