Gentlemen:
We have inspected the open excavation at Lot 14, Block 3,
Willow Park, Phase I, (707 Great Plains Ct.) a subdivision of
Ft. Collins, Colorado.
The subject excavation was inspected on April 15, 1987. The
exposed soils indicate a balanced spread footing type foun-
dation system designed in accordance with the recommenda-
tions contained in the soils and foundation investigation
report performed by CTL Thompson, Inc. Job No. 9454 dated
September 22, 1983 is suitable. No water was encountered to
a depth of 3.0 feet. No perimeter drain is required. All
pads and footings are 8" deep unless otherwise noted. (Type
II Cement).
Based upon those results and our evaluation of the proposed
Conifer I model, we recommend the footings shown on the sketch
below.
