This letter is to request the one-time, no -fee, 180-day extension of the above referenced non -expired permit.
The work has been completed and an inspection has been completed for the work. The necessary modifications
per that inspection have yet to be completed. The work referenced in the permit application has been
completed and accepted, however the item cited in the permit as deficient is unrelated to the permit itself.
Specifically the permit that was applied for and the work that was completed was for a pergola structure, which
was found to be in compliance with the approved documents. The inspector that reviewed the work made
reference to the deck as needing a handrail. The deck has been constructed with no area above 30" and does
not require a permit and therefore should not be subject to the review and approval of the application.
I am requesting the extension so that this issue may be resolved.
