Structural Engineers -50"7v(p4D5 On October 22 and 26, 2007, Weeks & Associates observed the footings and foundation wall steel at the referenced site as requested. The footing sizes and foundation wall reinforcing steel were in substantial conformance with the foundation plan for the project. In addition, the electrode had been placed in accordance with the recommendations by NEC. If I can be of further assistance please contact me. As requested, Earth Engineering Company, Inc. (EEC) personnel have completed the construction observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included observations of the foundation drain placement and damp proofing at the referenced address. The results of those observations are included with this report. On October 31, 2007, EEC personnel observed the foundation drain for the referenced project. The foundation drain consisted of 4-inch flexible perforated pipe imbedded in 3/4 inch gravel around the below grade exterior perimeter of the structure and was connected to a sump pit in the basement. The gravel was covered with filter paper. The damp proofing consisted of grey spray - on coating that appeared to be placed at the exterior below grade areas of the basement walls.
