Dear Mr. Wray,
The plans and specifications re bmitted for the construction of Human Bean
Drive-Thru Coffee to be located at 1822 S. College in Fort Collins, Colorado, have been
reviewed by this department. The plans are approved at this time. The following
items correspond to the October 17, 2007 letter:
1. It is acknowledged that baked goods will be obtained from Blue Point Bakery in
Denver, Colorado.
2. The sick employee policy has been reviewed and acknowledged.
3. The location of the ice maker is acknowledged and will be drained into a floor
sink.
7. Storage shelving acknowledged to be melamine shelving located next to the 3-
compartment sink.
13. The 3-compartment sink is acknowledged to be 18"x18"x145' with 24" drain
boards on both sides.
17. It is acknowledged that the hot water heater provided will be a Rheem model
ES50, with a 9 KW rating and 37 gph at 100°F rise.
21. It is acknowledged that no chemical dispensing tower will be plumbed at any
sink in the establishment.
30. It is acknowledged that employee personal items will be stored away from food
or food service items.

The written plans are approved at this time. Be advised approval of plans, including
the above modifications and those outlined in the October 17, 2007 plan review letter,
does not constitute acceptance of the completed structures. Inspections of the premises
must be conducted by this department prior to approval for operation and licensure of the
establishment. Failure to follow the recommended changes may prevent or delay the
licensure.
In addition to the $75 plan review application fee paid at the time the plans were
submitted for review, a review fee is assessed for the actual review time. The review fee
is assessed at a rate of $40 per hour. Currently review cost for this project is $180.
Please be advised, before the department can give any approval for operation all plan
review fees must be must be paid. The plan review billing invoices for this project are
attached.
