As you recall, our building is a two-story, professional business office of approximately 14,600 g.s.f.. Our proposed occupancy is a 'B; however, we would not exclude limited 'M' occupancy on the first level. Per our discussion, I am writing to request that our submittal be reviewed relative to the 2006 IBC with regards to Sections 10, 6 and 5. Specifically, Russ, I would ask for the following: 1. Egress, Chapter 10. We ask that the required separation of egress be limited to 1/3 the diagonal distance in lieu of 1/2 the diagonal distance. 2. Area increase — we propose a building with non -separated uses, Type VB, 2-story building of 14,600 s.f.. We ask for the sprinkler allowance in 504.2 for a total allowed area of 18,000 s.f. 101D� 3. We request that 2006 Table 602 allow our south wall to be non -rated as it sits 10' from 1 ' the Southern property line. In addition, we request that Table 601 apply to our VB submittal.
