This shall certify that I personally inspected the footings and foundations for the above project
prior to and during the placement of the concrete. The construction of the footings and
foundations is in general compliance with the approved plans prepared by Glaser Associates
Architects.

As requested, Earth Engineering Company, Inc. (EEC) personnel have reviewed the invoices and
receipts for the drain and damp proofing placed at the referenced project per the letter prepared by
Advocate Incorporated, dated December 18, 2006.
On December 20, 2006, EEC personnel reviewed the foundation wall damp proofing and the
foundation drain invoices and receipts for the referenced project. The damp proofing appeared to
consist of a grey spray -on coating to cover all exterior below grade areas of the basement walls.
The foundation drain appeared to consist of three inch perforated drain pipe placed around below
grade areas of the foundation imbedded in 1/4" gravel. Based on our review of the referenced
documents and/or previous observations of the foundation drain and damp proofing on nearby
lots, it appears the damp proofing and foundation drain had been placed in general accordance
with the architect's instructions.
