Dear Mr. Laetsch,
The plans and spe tfications submitted for the remodels of three endy's
restaurants located at 151 W. Eisenhower in Loveland, Colorado, and 719 S. Lemay
Avenue and 3710 S: College Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado have been reviewed by
this department. The following items were not clearly specified in the plans or were not
in compliance with the Colorado Retail Food Establishment Rules and Regulations.
These items must be clearly specified in writing or be modified to be in compliance with
the above regulations. The plans are approved at this time.
1. It is acknowledged that no menu or equipment changes will be made at any of the
above locations.
2. It is acknowledged that the existing Type I hoods will be relocated over 1' and
1.5" to provide the required.6" overhang around the fryers. The hoods must pass
a smoke test conducted by the Health Department before they can be
approved for use.
3. It is acknowledged that a new floor drain will be installed near the condiment
counter for future installation of a self-service beverage counter. Floor drain will
be capped and covered with carpet until beverage counter is installed at future
date. Please provide information on cabinetry, soda machine, and ice
dispenser PRIOR to installation. Floor surrounding beverage counter must
be smooth, durable and easily cleanable, no carpet will be approved.
4. Please be advised all new finishes must be smooth, durable, and easily cleanable.
It is acknowledged that the remodel will also include the following new finishes:
• Replacement of FRP with tiles in serving line area
• Replacement of broken tiles in back kitchen area
• Replacement of ceiling in restrooms

5. Please be advised that construction must be done in a manner that does not
contaminate food or paper products. Restrooms and, water are required during all
hours of operation.
In addition to the $75 plan review application fee paid at the time the plans were
submitted for review, a review fee is assessed for the actual review time. The review fee
is assessed at a rate of $40 per hour. Currently review cost for this project is $180.
Please be advised, before the department can give any approval for operation all plan
review fees must be must be paid. The plan review billing invoices for this project are
attached.
Be advised approval of plans does not constitute acceptance of the completed
structures. Inspections of the premises must be conducted by this department prior to
approval for operation.
