We have recently been asked to provide a summary of the construction observation and testing
services performed for the referenced project. A summary of the testing completed is included
with this letter.
As you are aware, Earth Engineering Consultants, Inc. (EEC) personnel observed and tested site
concrete, overlot grading materials, utility installation backfill and subgrade and surfacing for
concrete and asphalt paving. The testing and observation services were performed on a part-
time, on -call basis during the various operations. The final test results for the backfill and
subgrade materials met the project compaction and moisture requirements for the materials being
prepared or placed. The concrete test results met the project specification for compressive
strength. The specific test results were provided at two -week intervals during site construction.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions
concerning this report, or if we can be of further service to you in any other way, please do not
hesitate to contact us.
Very truly yours,
Earth Engineering Consultants, Inc.

Earth Engineering Consultants, Inc. (EEC) personnel have completed the construction
observation services you requested for the referenced project. Those services included the
observation of reinforcing steel for the garage stem walls. On August 11, 2005, EEC
personnel observed reinforcing steel consisting of one #5 rebar continuous through the
garage area footings with two #5 bars at garage openings. At the time of our
observations, it appeared that the reinforcing steel had been placed in general accordance
with the construction drawings.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any
