Elton and Greg:
Elton called me on 18 July 2001 with reduced window sizes on four sets of windows on the main floor of the 2401
plan asking if that would reduce the heat loss on the plan in order to meet the City's Energy Code without changing
the other specifications. Per his request I recalculated the window losses and reran the calculations.
Reducing the window glazing did reduce the heat load but the windows were not reduced in an amount to secure the
needed increase (some two points on the G-scale) without changing the additional specifications listed on my letter
to the City previously reported. Making the other changes will still be needed. ff you wish for me to check out
other alternatives I will be happy to do so.
