November 13, 1997 Commission No.: 2250-09-131-03 US Home Corporation 118 E. 29th Street, Suite F Loveland, Colorado 80538 Gentlemen: We have observed the drilling of several of the twelve (12) inch diameter, straight shaft piers supporting the residence under construction at Lot 218, Harmony Crossing, (1813 Jamison Court), a subdivision of Fort Collins, Colorado. This inspection was performed on November 7, 1997. Exposed soils measure from original grade consist of eight (8) feet of sandy clay over a silty claystone bedrock which extends to the depths drilled. All piers observed were plumb, properly cleaned and of adequate length as specified on Weintraub Engineering foundation plan, Job No. 1024JA/Full/.2-Car. Water was encountered during drilling. Therefore, we recommend concrete be placed immediately after drilling of each individual caisson. Casing was not required. If you have any qt �o•Q,PUR U."
