NOTICE OF PERMIT CANCELLATION
and
HAZARD ABATEMENT

RE: Building Permit No.922810,1,3024 Garret Dr.11
You are hereby notified the above permit has been canceled for
nonpayment of fees. All construction privileges associated with
the permit, including temporary utilities, are revoked. Further,
in accordance with Section 303(d) of the Fort Collins Building
Code, the above permit has expired because the work authorized
thereunder was not commenced within 180 days of issuance.,
To restart the original project, in addition to paying delinquent
fees amounting to $7078.42, a permit renewal fee must be paid, in
the amount of one-half of the original building permit fee, or
$201.15.
The other matter of concern is the excavation left open on the site
for the past several months. After receiving complaints from
neighbors, I visited the site yesterday. As provided under Section
2903(a) of the building code, I have determined the excavation
poses a danger to the public and has become an attractive nuisance
to minors. You are hereby ordered to correct this hazard, either
by adequately barricading the excavation from unauthorized entry or
by filling it. Failing to comply within 30 days of receipt of this
notice can result in additional fines and penalties.
I am willing to waive the permit renewal fee, provided the above
hazard is abated within the time specified. Please contact me for
additional information or clarification.
