Gentlemen:
We have observed the hip framing at the above referenced project. This inspection
was performed on February 22, 1989.
It is our opinion that the framing as constructed is adequate to support all code
live loads and dead loads of which it will be subject to, with the following ex-
ception.
We recommend solid blocking the trusses at the ridge a minimum of three trusses back
from all hips to allow distribution of hip loads into the roof diaphragm. .Blocking
should be well glued and nailed to,the deck.
