INSTRUCTIONS -FOR GAS -PIPE TESTS ON RETRO-FIT GAS LOGS INSTALLED BY A
PERSON LICENSED BY EITHER COLORADO STATE OR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS.
1. Gas pipe tests may be performed and verified by a person licensed for gas piping
in lieu of art inspection by a Larimer County inspector, FOR GAS LOG INSTALLATION
ONLY!!
2. The test shall be ac 100 air pressure for a duration of 15 minutes.
3. Fill out the Larincr.'Councy form letter and leave it with the inspection card
ac the jobsice.
4• After installation is complete with logs in place and operable, call 1
final inspection by the building department.

If the above option is not used, call for an inspection of the gas line by Larimer
County. A second and final inspection will then be required after the unit is
