Dear Ms. Padilla:
Terracon observed approximately 10 percent of the caisson construction
procedures at the referenced project on July 11, 2000. Each caisson was
observed for depth of penetration into firm bedrock and condition of the
completed drill hole (i.e. free of excessive water and auger cuttings). In addition,
observations were made of caisson diameter, plumb tolerance and reinforcing
steel and concrete placement.
In our opinion the caissons observed were constructed in accordance with the
plans and specifications for the project.

Terracon observed the foundation construction for the referenced lot within the Greenstone
Residential Development on July 14, and 18, 2000, as requested.
Observations made during the foundation construction indicate that the foundation wall steel for the
basement and garage areas are in accordance with the plans and specifications for this project.
