Gentlemen:
On August 1, 2000, Weeks & Associates observed the excavation at the referenced site. The
soil observed at footing level was a brown silty clayey sand with gravel. This soil is similar to
those described in the Subsurface Exploration Report for the site by Earth Engineering
Consultants, Inc. dated May 12, 1995 (see Project No. 1952030).
Based on site observations and a review of the report, it is our opinion the spread footing
foundation system as recommended in the report and detailed on the foundation plan for the
site by Weeks & Associates, Inc., Project No. 99151, is appropriate for the site soil conditions.
